Assassin's Creed III Steel Case Available From GameStop

As I was picking up my pre-order for Mass Effect 3, I saw that GameStop was giving away AC3 metal cases to the first 60 or so pre-orders for AC3. The case is literally just a promotional item that you'll put the game into once it comes out later this year. Luckily, I waited until yesterday to pre-order.

Stay tuned for some ME3 stuff, and be sure to come back for more info on Assassin's Creed III.

Alan Wake PC Proves Itself: Sells Like Crazy In Just 2 Days

I can vividly remember reading countless forum posts on PC gaming sites about people's disappointment that Alan Wake wouldn't be seeing a PC release and would be a 360 exclusive. Well, a couple years have passed, and Alan Wake PC has become a reality and apparently there was still a high enough demand for the PC version that it sold enough copies on Steam to pay for itself in just 48 hours. Seriously. Now if only Epic would take notice of this and get around to releasing the rest of the Gears games on PC...

Wii Nunchuk Shown In New Lady GaGa Music Video

In the latest GaGa music video for Bad Romance, you can clearly see around 2:40 that there are some Wii Nunchuks in frame and used to control... something. Seems like some sort of new age eBay auctioning with Nunchuk control. Mmm, sounds cool, but unnecessary.

The check featured here is only for about 2/5 of the articles I've written that are currently on the site. Next payday is Friday. I won't post future links from these websites unless you want me to so sound off in the forums. Yes, I'll probably stay on HearMii for likes the forums (RIP) and podcast (LOL) but now I gotsta get paid for the word-action

OMG ZUNE!

OK, so I downloaded the Zune software to my computer in a bit of curiosity as my friend told me the software is what made him not want a Zune. I had a little bit of trouble downloading it, but that was nothing major, and probably just my own fault.

FFCC: Crystal Bearers AKA Bangkok-Lady-Boy Cock Tease

Above is a video of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers. After seeing all of the epic trailers for Final Fantasy XIII on the PS3 and Xbox 360 and only getting re-makes of Final Fantasy games on the DS (just because they're now in 3D, doesn't make it a new game (I'm a hypocrite though, I bought Broken Sword for Wii)) - you would think Square-Enix would try a bit harder for Ninty (If you say Dragon Quest 10, then you've got me there!). Perhaps the sheer mind-boggingly astronomical budget for the FFXIII family of nipple-parching, franchise-milking games is precluding any other game development in the company; maybe it is the credit crunch.

Speed Sketch: Week of 5/11

The continued saga of lines on a piece of paper, it's marvelous to watch.

To think that we as a species, can create imagination and beauty, using our own hands, is incredible.

Or maybe it's just some dude drawing.

Heres a wrap up of this week, in case you missed it:

Let's Draw Wario!

Drawing.

Ever since the dawn of man, we as a species have been fascinated by the whimsical creations we can put down on anything. Of course once something becomes popular, a lot more people try to take a crack at it. Unfortunately for us, most people suck at drawing.

Not this individual however, a close friend of mine wishes to display his talent to the world in the form of: Speed Sketch

A quote from the artist:

"A blank page holds many opportunities.

VIDEOS WILL BE POSTED
Monday - FRIDAY
NO SATURDAY OR SUNDAY VIDEOS!

If videos aren't posted on the certain days that I've promised, I'm sorry, chances are this will be attributed to me not having enough time between homework, school, and other commitments.

Tell Your Friends about me!"

BOXSTr Issues

To all of the Hear Mii fans: We are well aware of the current BOXSTr issue. It seems they're having troubles at their database. For now, the only fix I can offer you is to download the podcast on iTunes. I'm not exactly sure if it's on Zune Marketplace, but it might be there as well. You'll just have to check yourselves or maybe try http://www.gcast.com/u/HearMii/main

The crew will be discussing this issue later in the week. Please bare with us until then.

Assie's 1 Year Anniversary With YouTube (and Hear Mii)

Today, April 1st marks my 1 year anniversary with YouTube. A lot has changed over the past year and the reason I'm making this post here is for 2 reasons:

1) Too busy to make a video.
2) It has a lot to do with Hear Mii and Wii.tv

I remember when I announced on the then Wii.tv forums that I was doing a fan review of Pokemon Battle Revolution. I had it done around Friday, but I had some complications so I sent a message to Storm asking him how to convert .VOB into .AVI. He pointed me into the direction of AutoGK and I used it to convert and by sheer luck the review was uploaded on April Fool's Day. I clearly remember bob making a post being skeptical about the review and wondering if it was an April Fool's joke, but alas it wasn't.

Hear Mii Exclusive: Hands On Impressions With The Conduit

By Michael Turner
A.K.A. Wiinewd

The Conduit, my most anticipated game of 2009 for Wii. After first hearing about The Conduit I was hoping it was going to be the game I've been dreaming of to see on the Wii. As weeks go by and more info is leaked on the game, High Voltage Software gained their new partners in success, Sega. With announcements like 16 players online, confirmation of Wii Speak, possibilities of Wii MotionPlus use and for the first time ever attention to detail of the visual presentation in a 3rd party Wii game as it's highlight. From weeks to months of anticipation, hearing tons of exciting news released about the game, the idea that this could be the game that not only I have been waiting for, but for every hardcore Wii owner is, too starting to seem more and more apparent.
Here you can notice the extremely detailed bump and normal mapping.
